Apeejay College Of Fine Arts, Jalandhar

Jalandhar is where we've been for quite some time now. Most people around here know the campus on the main road. It's a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get to their classes on time. We spend our days dealing with a lot of different things, from paperwork in the office to making sure the studios are ready for the students. It's not always quiet, but that's how it goes in a school. There’s usually some music coming from one room or someone carrying a large canvas across the courtyard. We have been part of the 144005 area for years, and you get used to the rhythm of the semesters. Some days are just about fixing a leaky tap or sorting out the schedule for the next week. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running, but we just get on with it. We see a lot of faces come and go, some staying for a few years and others just visiting for an event. The building itself has its own character, with those corners that everyone hangs out in between lectures. We don't try to be anything fancy, just a place where people can come to learn and do their work. It gets dusty, it gets loud, and sometimes it's a bit chaotic, but it feels like home to those of us who work here every day. We’ve seen many seasons change from these windows and we just keep going.
