Shubham Chicken Corner

Shubham Chicken Corner is right on the Main Road in Dakoha. If you know the area, we are basically opposite Babu Mobile House. It’s a busy spot in Jalandhar and there is always a lot of noise from the cars and bikes passing by. We focus on chicken, obviously. Most people come here for the snacks or to take something home for dinner. It’s not the kind of place where you look for a five-star experience. It’s more about getting your food and enjoying it while it’s hot. The grill gets really hot in the evenings and you can smell the spices from down the street. We started this because we liked the idea of a local corner shop. My brother and I usually handle the orders. It gets a bit chaotic when there are five or six people waiting at once, but we manage. We don't use fancy napkins or expensive plates. It’s just straightforward food. Sometimes we run out of change or the delivery guy is late, but that’s life. The shop is small, so most people just stand outside or wait in their cars. We see a lot of the same people every weekend. It’s a good spot if you’re just hungry and in the Dakoha area. We keep the lights bright so people can see us from the road. It’s nothing special, just our little business where we try to get the orders right every time.
