Shakti Om International

Shakti Om International is based out of Nizatam Nagar in Basti Nau. This area is known for its small industries and workshops, and we are right in the middle of it at number 49. It’s a narrow street, so getting large vehicles in can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The building is older, with thick walls that keep it relatively cool in the summer. We handle a lot of different items, mostly coordinating things between suppliers and people who need them. It’s not a very glamorous job. There is always a lot of packing tape and cardboard boxes around. We have a small staff who have been with us for years, so we all know how things work without having to talk about it too much. Basti Nau is a tight-knit place; we know the people in the shops next door and often share a cup of tea in the afternoons. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. People who need us usually know where to find us. Sometimes we get orders that keep us busy for weeks, and other times we are just waiting for the next shipment to arrive. We don't use much fancy technology, just the basics to keep track of our inventory. It’s a steady life and we like the routine of being in this part of town.
