Saswati Roy

Saswati Roy is usually found over at Gulab Devi Hospital in Jalandhar City. That hospital is a bit of a landmark around here, so most people know the way. It’s located in the 144001 area. Working in a place like Gulab Devi means there is never really a quiet moment. There are always people in the hallways and the sound of carts being pushed around. I spend most of my day dealing with whatever comes through the door. The hospital itself has been around for a long time, and you can tell by some of the older wings. Jalandhar can be a hectic place to live, and the hospital is no different. Sometimes I take a break and just walk near the entrance to get some fresh air. The air in Jalandhar isn't always the best, but it beats sitting under those bright tube lights all day. My desk is usually covered in folders and notes. It’s not the most organized looking spot, but I know where everything is. People come from all over the city to this hospital. It’s a practical place, focused on getting things done. We don't have fancy leather chairs or anything. It's just white walls and tile floors. I’ve lived in Jalandhar for years now, so the commute to Gulab Devi is just part of the routine. It’s a decent enough place to spend the working hours.
