Down in Abadpura, specifically Gali No. 1, you’ll find our place. It’s right in the main part of Jalandhar City. We’ve got a lot of stuff crammed into our space—tents, metal poles, rolls of wire, and some pretty heavy speakers. It’s a family-run thing, and most of us have been doing this since we were kids. My dad started with just a few lights, and now we’ve got all this sound equipment too. The alleyway is narrow, so getting the trucks in and out is always a bit of a puzzle. We spend a lot of time cleaning the fabric after it comes back from a rainy event. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and loading day in and day out. We don’t have a fancy website or a front office. Most people just come to the house or call us on the mobile. The neighbors are used to us testing the Hi-Fi systems by now. Sometimes we have to fix a light bulb or a broken cable right before we head out. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know.
