Rajinder Driving School

The school is based in Lidhra, and we have been at this for a good number of years. It’s not a big operation, just a few of us teaching people how to drive cars properly. We spend most of our time out on the local roads. Lidhra isn't too busy, which is actually pretty good for someone who is just starting out and feeling a bit shaky behind the wheel. We don't have any fancy simulators or high-tech classrooms. We just get you in the driver's seat and start with the basics like the clutch and the mirrors. It is very hands-on because that is the only way to really learn. Some students are quick learners and others need a bit more time to stop stalling the engine at every turn. We don't mind. We have a lot of patience because we know how it feels to be new. You might have seen our cars driving slowly around the neighborhood. We try to be careful and keep everyone safe while they are practicing. The office isn't much to look at, just a place to handle the paperwork and schedule the next lesson. We just want to make sure people know the rules of the road and can handle a car without getting into trouble. It's a simple business but it's important for people here. We just show up every day and do what we can to help. It's nothing fancy, just local people teaching other local people how to drive.
