Navraj Driving School

Our office is at S.C.O 1-A on Kapurthala Road in Jalandhar. We are located right in the Improvement Trust Market, which is a very busy spot near Kapurthala Chowk. Every morning we open up the shop and get the cars ready for the day's lessons. The market area is always full of people, so there is a lot of noise and movement right outside our door. We’ve been teaching people to drive from this same spot for quite a long time. The office is just a small space with a few chairs and a desk where we handle the paperwork. We don't have any fancy decorations, just some maps and driving rules on the wall. We take our students out into the Jalandhar traffic, which can be a bit much for someone who has never been behind a wheel before. We spend a lot of time sitting in the passenger seat, watching the road and giving simple directions. It's a lot of repeating the same things, like checking the mirrors and being careful with the clutch. We aren't some big corporate school; we are just local folks helping our neighbors learn a useful skill. Sometimes the cars need a bit of work, so we spend our afternoons at the mechanic nearby. It's a straightforward business and we try to keep things as easy as possible for everyone who comes in. We have a lot of patience because learning to drive takes time.
