Quality Gums

Our workshop is at 986-88 in the M.I.E. estate. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes with all the different units, but we’ve been at this spot long enough that everyone knows where Quality Gums is located. Working with gums means everything can get a little bit sticky if you aren't careful. We spend a lot of time monitoring the temperature and the consistency of what we are processing. The industrial estate is always humming with the sound of other businesses, which makes for a busy atmosphere. Our space is mostly taken up by the processing equipment and storage racks. We don’t have much in the way of a front office, just a small table where we handle the invoices and talk to the delivery guys. On hot days, the warehouse gets pretty stuffy, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We have a few old chairs in the corner for when we take a break and drink some water. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day's tasks. There’s usually a bit of a mess to clean up at the end of every shift, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We keep things simple and let the work speak for itself.
