Out here in Hardeep Nagar, right on the Jandu Singha Road, we’ve been running this DJ thing for quite some time. We’re situated near Lamba Pind Chowk, just across from the HP petrol pump. If you’re driving by Jalandhar City, you can’t really miss the spot. It’s basically just a room full of speakers, wires, and a lot of dust from the road. We spend most of our days testing out the bass and making sure the lights actually turn on when they’re supposed to. Sometimes the neighbors complain when we test the sound too late, but we try to be quiet after dark. It’s just a couple of us working here. We didn’t start with much, just a few old mixers and a love for loud music. The shop isn’t anything fancy to look at, just a practical place to keep the gear dry. We know the roads around here really well because we’re always loading the truck for some party or another. The petrol pump across the way is handy for those late-night trips. It gets pretty hot in the summer with all the electronics running, so we usually have a small fan going. We don’t have a big front desk or a secretary. Usually, you’ll just find one of us sitting on a speaker box checking cables. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy. Most people around Lamba Pind know where to find us if they need music.
