Laxmi Iron Traders

If you walk down Tanda Road, you’ll find us at Shop No. 15 on Swarn Mandir Marg. We go by Laxmi Iron Traders. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with iron pieces and tools. We don't have a big showroom. Most of our space is taken up by the stock itself. People come by looking for specific weights or types of iron. Sometimes the floor is a bit greasy from the metal, but that’s just part of the job. Tanda Road is a busy place, always something happening outside. We started this because there was a need for a local place to get iron without traveling too far. We don’t do any fancy marketing. Usually, it’s just word of mouth from one builder to another. My brother and I run the place together. We open up early and stay until the last customer leaves. It’s honest work. We don't claim to be the biggest or anything like that. We just provide what people ask for when they come in. Sometimes we run out of certain items and have to wait for the next truck to arrive. That’s just how supply goes. We keep the books manually most of the time because it’s easier that way for us. We’ve been here long enough that most of the regulars know our names. It’s a decent living and we like the community around Swarn Mandir Marg. We just keep our heads down and work.
