This location is a bit more rural than some of the others. We are out in V.P.O Hiyatpur, which is also known as Kukran, in the Hoshairpur district of Punjab. You’ll find us at the place belonging to Sarbjeet Singh, son of S. Kartar Singh. It is a very different vibe from the big city offices. It is quiet, and you can see the fields nearby. Larsen & Toubro Ltd. uses this spot as a base for the work happening in this part of Punjab. Life here moves at its own pace. We start the day when the sun comes up and usually head home when it gets dark. The office is just a room with the essentials. We don't have fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets everywhere. We use what we have and keep the records tidy. It’s a lot of manual work and coordination with the local crews. People around here know us by name, which is nice. It makes the workday feel more like a community effort. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just take a break outside until it comes back. It’s honest work in a peaceful place.
