Our place is located at Baba Gadhia, right across from the big water tank on Khalwara Road. It’s a landmark everyone around here knows, so it makes finding us a bit easier for the delivery drivers. We are an engineering outfit, focusing on the practical side of making parts and fixing things that break. The building is a simple structure, nothing that would win any awards for architecture, but it keeps the rain off our heads and the sun off the equipment. We started out small and haven’t really felt the need to get too much bigger than we are now. There’s a certain rhythm to the work here, with the sound of grinding and welding filling the air from morning until evening. We don’t have a receptionist, so if you walk in, you’ll probably have to wait a second for one of us to notice you over the noise. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but that’s just part of being on Khalwara Road. We focus on the jobs that come in, whether they are small repairs or bigger fabrication tasks. Our tools are well-used and have been with us for a long time. We don’t put on any acts for our customers; we just show them the work we’ve done and let that be that. Flora Engineering Corp. is just a local spot where people work hard and try to do a solid job.
