Our office is located at 36 Virdi Colony. That is in the Harbasn Nagar area, specifically Basti Guzan. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to these streets, with all the turns and small lanes. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Lakshay International Pvt. Ltd. is just the name on the door, really. Inside, it’s mostly us sitting at our desks or moving boxes around when things get busy during the shipping season. The neighbors in Virdi Colony are mostly nice people who have lived here for years. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. Kids playing outside or someone selling vegetables from a wooden cart. It’s not like those shiny office buildings you see in the city center. We like it this way, though. It’s practical and feels like home. The building itself is number 36, and it’s pretty easy to spot once you turn into the right lane from the main road. We usually start our day early before the sun gets too hot in the afternoon. There is always tea being made in the back for anyone who wants it. We handle our paperwork and talk to whoever comes by. Basti Guzan has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of that. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait, or we keep working by the natural light from the windows. It’s just a normal workplace where we try to get things done.
