Kuka Engineers

Out here near the Jalandhar Bypass, things are always moving fast. Kuka Engineers is tucked away in Industrial Area- A, specifically at Plot No.B23/2793/2A. It’s right near Transport Nagar, so the sound of heavy trucks shifting gears is basically our background music all day long. The building is a bit older, with some rust on the window frames and a door that squeaks every time someone walks through it. We do a lot of heavy engineering work here, so there are always sparks flying somewhere in the shop. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We wear old clothes that can stand a bit of dirt and heat. There’s a big overhead fan that hums loudly but doesn't really do much to cool the place down in July. We keep our blueprints and drawings on a scarred wooden table that’s seen better decades. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack finished parts out in the small yard near the bypass road. It’s a rough and tumble environment, but the guys here know their way around a lathe and a welding torch. We don't do much in the way of fancy talk or marketing. We just show up, do the metalwork, and try to make sure everything fits the way it should. It’s hard work, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that feels right after all these years.
