Kazmi Enterprises (P) Ltd. operates out of Kazmi Tower on Nakodar Road. We are very close to the Silver Oak Apartments, which makes it simple for people to locate us in this part of the city. The tower is a modest building where we have our main office space. It is not a very large operation, just enough room for our desks and the files we need to keep track of everything. We spend our days handling various business matters, mostly over the phone or on the computer. Nakodar Road is a major route, so there is a constant stream of cars and buses going past our windows. It gives the place a lot of energy. We are a small group of people working here, and we have a very straightforward way of doing things. No one wears a suit unless there is a very good reason. We usually have the local news playing on a small radio or just chat while we work. The area around Kazmi Tower has developed a lot recently, with more shops and residential blocks appearing. We have stayed pretty much the same, focusing on our daily tasks. We take our breaks together and often send someone out to get samosas or tea from the nearby stalls. It is a regular office life with a local feel, and we are quite content with that. Most people who work here have been with us for a long time.
