Gem International

Our place is at number 150 in Shanti Pura, right in the Ranjit Nagar area. We are located on Ladowali Road, which most people around here know because of the railway crossing that is just a short walk away. You can often hear the trains passing by and the whistles blowing while we are working in the office. It has become a bit of a familiar sound for us over the years. Gem International has been operating from this specific spot for quite a while now. We deal with various supplies and international bits and pieces, depending on what the day brings. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a plain, functional space where we handle our paperwork and take our phone calls. Being so close to the crossing means we sometimes have to wait for the gates to open when we are coming in or heading out, but you just get used to that rhythm. The neighborhood of Shanti Pura is actually quite lively most of the time. Inside, we have a few desks and some space for the items we are handling. It is mostly a lot of coordinating things and making sure everything gets where it is supposed to go. We don’t have a massive staff, just a few of us who know how the business works. We focus on the daily tasks and trying to stay on top of the logistics. It is a lot of back and forth with different people, but we like it here.
