Located at No. 136 Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, our office is quite close to Maqsudan. It is a decent neighborhood, mostly residential but with some businesses like ours mixed in. The building is a simple two-story structure. We take up the ground floor. It has a small veranda where we sometimes sit if the weather is nice. Inside, it is mostly just rows of shelves and a couple of desks for the computers. We handle various imports and exports from here. The street is usually quiet, which is a nice change from the main roads. We have a few regular delivery drivers who know exactly where to pull up so they do not block the neighbors' driveways. There is a small park down the road where we sometimes go for a walk during our break. The walls inside are white, but they could probably use a new coat of paint soon. We have a lot of boxes stacked up, so you have to watch your step when you walk through the back room. It is a modest setup. We do not really have a lot of visitors, so we do not worry too much about having a fancy reception area. It is just a place where we get our work done and then head home at the end of the day. The fluorescent lights hum a little bit, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. It is just a solid, quiet place for us to focus on our business.
