D.K. Rubbers

You can find D.K. Rubbers over on Kapurthala Road, specifically in the Basti Bawa Khel area. It’s a busy part of town with a lot going on. Our workshop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just where we do our daily work. We’ve been here long enough that the locals know where we are. Usually, the place is a bit cluttered with materials and finished parts waiting to go out. We don’t spend much time cleaning up for visitors because there’s always something else to do. It’s just me and a couple of others most of the time. We handle the machines and the paperwork ourselves. The road outside can get pretty backed up during rush hour, so we try to get our loading done early. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine acts up, and we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't part of some big chain. D.K. Rubbers is just this one location. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. If someone needs something, they usually just call or stop by the gate. We keep it straightforward and try not to overcomplicate things. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep up with the daily schedule.
