If you ever find yourself looking for 28 A in New Green Model Town, you’ll find us tucked away in the lane there. Jalandhar City is a big place, but this little corner of Punjab feels like home to us. We’ve been running Chopra Foreign Travels from here for quite some time. It’s not always easy, what with all the different rules for visas and flights changing every other week. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or filling out forms that seem to never end. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can get the work done. Some mornings the lane is quiet, and other times it’s full of cars and people moving about. We get all sorts of people walking through the door, some looking to visit family abroad and others just wanting a vacation. We don't do the big fancy advertisements because most people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends in the Model Town area. It feels good when someone comes back from a trip and tells us it went okay. We just sit here and do our bit, making sure the names are spelled right and the dates match up. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just life in Jalandhar. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency, just the one that helps our neighbors.
