We are out here in Jandiala Manjki, right on the Nurmahal Road. If you know where the Senior Secondary Girls School is, then you have basically found us. It’s a lively part of Jalandhar. Most of our days are spent checking wires and making sure the speakers didn't get rattled too much at the last wedding we did. Being a DJ isn't just about the music, it's about moving a lot of heavy boxes and making sure the lights don't flicker at the wrong time. We keep our gear here and spend a lot of time testing out new tracks or fixing a broken plug on a cable. The road gets pretty busy, especially when the school lets out and there's traffic everywhere. Sometimes we have people just pop in because they heard some bass testing from the street and wanted to know who we are. We don't have a shiny showroom or a receptionist. It's more of a workspace where we get ready for the next party. Usually, we are packing up the van late at night or coming back when the sun is starting to come up. It's tiring work but we’ve been doing it for a while now and we like it. Neighbors are used to the noise by now, I think. We just try to make sure every party has decent sound. It's a simple setup but it works for us and the local people who hire us to play.
