We've been over here at the New Ind. Estate in Jagatpur for quite some time now. Dealing with spices is just what we do day in and day out. It’s busy around the warehouse most mornings. Jaya Bharat Spices Pvt Ltd isn't some fancy high-rise office; it’s a practical space where the work actually happens. People come by and see the bags being moved and the smells of the different blends everywhere. It gets a bit dusty sometimes, but that’s the nature of the trade. We started small and just kept going because people needed what we had. The roads around Jagatpur can be a bit of a mess during the rainy season, but we manage to get things out on time. My cousin helps with the books and I handle the floor. It’s a lot of manual labor, checking how good the seeds and barks are when they arrive. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Word of mouth usually does the trick for us. Most of our neighbors know us by name. It’s just honest work. We keep the machines running and make sure the packing is done right before the trucks arrive. If you walk past the estate, you can probably smell us before you see the sign. It’s nothing too complicated, just a spice business trying to keep things moving. We've seen a lot of changes in the estate over the years, but we’re still here.
