Durga Arts

Our shop, Durga Arts, is located right by Dak Bangla Chowk, near the Post Office in Dolipur. We are also quite close to the police station on Jajpur Road, so it’s a very easy place to describe to people. The area is usually quite busy with people heading to the post office or just passing through the Chowk. Inside our space, it’s a bit of a jumble. We have tools, paints, and different projects sitting on every available surface. It’s not a very tidy place, but we know where the important things are kept. We’ve been here for a good while, and the walls show a bit of age, but that doesn't bother us. We aren't a big corporate office with glass partitions. It’s just us and the work. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we have to wipe down the tables every morning. It’s a small team, usually just a few of us chatting while we work. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just take on whatever comes through the door and try to do a solid job. It’s a quiet life for the most part, despite the noise from the road. We like being a part of the local scene here in Dolipur and just getting things done. We usually lock up around six and do it all again the next day.
