Udaan School & Day Care

The sun is really something else here in Jaisalmer. Udaan School & Day Care is located on Pushkarna Bera Road. It’s a place where the little kids come while their parents are at work. Since it’s a day care too, we have a lot of toys and small chairs. The walls are painted with bright colors, though the desert dust settles on everything eventually. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors. Jaisalmer - 345001 is our location. The building is sturdy enough to keep the heat out during the peak of the afternoon. We have a small area for naps because the younger ones get tired easily. It’s not a corporate facility with a lot of rules. We just look after the children and teach them some basic things. You can hear the fans humming all day long. Pushkarna Bera Road is a familiar place for most people around here. We know the neighbors and the shopkeepers nearby. Sometimes the kids get cranky when it's too hot, so we give them water and let them rest. It’s just a practical, local spot for families. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just open the doors early in the morning and wait for the parents to drop off their kids. It's a lot of work, but it's what we do here in the city.
