Yagya-Valkya Instiute Of Technology

Out here in the Riico Industrial Area, things look a bit different. We are located right on Yit. Lane, across from Chokhi Dhani. It’s a dusty part of the world sometimes, especially when the trucks go by. The institute has been here through many seasons. We have students coming in from different parts of the state. Most of them are just trying to learn their trade and get through their exams. The building itself is sturdy and practical. We don’t spend much on decorations because we’d rather have the equipment working. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in. That’s just how it is in this area. You get used to the sounds of the nearby industries. It’s not a quiet, leafy campus like you see in movies. It’s a working place. Our staff spends a lot of time in the labs or handling the registration desk. There’s always a bit of a queue during the mornings. We try to keep the paperwork moving so people don’t have to wait in the heat too long. Being opposite a famous spot like Chokhi Dhani makes it easy for people to find us, which is a help. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s about getting through the syllabus and making sure the students know their stuff before they leave us.
