We are over at Plot Number 15 near Ajmer Pulia in the Gopalbari area of Jaipur. Specifically, we use Flat 103 in the Shri Krishanan Apartment as our main spot for handling the paperwork. It is a bit of a mix between a residential area and a business zone, which keeps things interesting. We work on various stone projects. It is not just selling slabs; we get involved in the details of how the stone is going to be used. The name of the business is a bit of a mouthful, Woven Stones Projects, but we just call it the shop. We don't have a massive showroom with bright lights. Most of our day is spent looking at drawings or talking to site supervisors. Jaipur is a busy city and the traffic near Ajmer Pulia can be a nightmare in the evenings. We usually try to get our deliveries out early to avoid the worst of it. The apartment office is small, so it gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside. We have a lot of samples lying around on the floor and tables. It is a practical way to work. We are not interested in corporate polish or looking like a big multinational. We are just a local team in Gopalbari trying to do a decent job with the projects we take on. It is honest work and we enjoy the process.
