Waterman Rajendra Singh Development Foundation is located at house number 34-24 in Mansarover. It’s a regular house that we’ve turned into our workspace. We don't have a big reception area or shiny glass doors. It’s just a place where we get together to talk about water and how to manage it better around here. We’ve all seen how the water levels change and what that does to the gardens and the local area. So, we decided to set up here in Mansarover to keep an eye on things. It’s a quiet street usually, which helps when we need to think or plan something out. We are just a small group of people. None of us are big-shot executives. We wear regular clothes and drink a lot of chai while we work. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to ask what we’re up to, and we’re always happy to tell them. It’s not about being famous or anything. We just think someone needs to pay attention to these things. The files are stacked up on the shelves, and sometimes the printer acts up, but we manage. We’ve been in this house for a bit now, and it feels like home. Doing this work in Mansarover is important to us because this is our community. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We are just here, at 34-24, trying to do something useful for the environment and our neighbors every single day.
