We are located at A-301 (e) on Road No. 14 in the VKI Area. It’s right across from Ghanshyamnagar, and we also have a presence near Street No. 18 on L H Road in Varachha. Handling granite is hard work because of the weight and the precision needed when moving it. Our yard is usually full of slabs leaning against one another, and we spend a lot of time just moving things around so people can see the patterns. The VKI area is always humming with activity, so there’s never a dull moment. Over in Varachha, the vibe is a bit different, more crowded and fast-paced. We deal with all kinds of granite, some with lots of veins and some that are plain. Every piece is a bit different, which makes the job interesting even if it’s physically exhausting. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just cut the stone, polish it if needed, and wait for the trucks to take it away. Sometimes the machines break down or the power goes out, and we just sit around and wait for it to come back on. It’s a simple life of stone and sweat. We’ve been at this for a while, and the neighborhood knows us as the guys who are always covered in stone dust. There is always a lot of granite to move, and we just get on with it every single day.
