C. M. Marbles

C. M. Marbles is located at G-1/71 in the V. K. I. Area Extension. We are right near the Bharat Gas Depot so that makes it easier for people to find us on Road No. 14-p. It’s a dusty part of town with a lot of trucks passing by all day long. We have a lot of marble slabs stacked up in the yard. Most of our time is spent checking the quality of what comes in. It’s not a quiet place. You hear the sounds of heavy machinery and people shouting over the noise. We’ve got a small office but we aren’t in it much. Mostly we are out where the stone is. Customers come by and ask about prices and we show them what’s ready to go. The industrial area can be a bit crowded but it’s where all the action is for stone. We don’t do any fancy marketing stuff. We just have the name on the gate. Sometimes the heat is really bad but we just keep working. Handling marble is tricky because it’s so heavy. One wrong move and you’ve got a problem. We try to stay careful and just do the job. If you come by you’ll see us working on the slabs or talking to the drivers. It’s just a regular business in a busy industrial zone. We don't pretend to be anything else.
