Neelmani Marbles

Neelmani Marbles is based at E-252 on Road No 13 in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area here in Jaipur. VKI is a big, busy place, and Road 13 is no exception. We are surrounded by other workshops and factories, so there is always the sound of hammers or engines in the background. Our building at E-252 is where we keep our marble stock. We have been here for quite some time, and we have seen the industrial area grow and change. The work we do is mostly about managing the inventory and making sure the marble is handled safely. It is heavy, fragile stuff, so you have to be careful. We spend a lot of our time moving slabs with the overhead crane. It is not a quiet job, and by the end of the day, we are usually covered in a fine layer of white dust. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just open the gates in the morning and get to work. Most of our customers are builders or people doing up their own houses who have heard about us from someone else. We keep things pretty straightforward and do not try to act like a big corporate office. We are just a local marble business trying to do a good job in a busy part of Jaipur. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything moving, but we have a solid rhythm going now and we like it here.
