Vijyndriya Stone Mining is based over at number 39 in the Vidyut Abhiyanta colony near Malviya Nagar. We’re involved in the mining side of the stone business, which involves a lot of outdoor work and logistical planning. It’s quite a different world from the retail shops you see in the city center. Our location near the main course area in Jaipur makes it easier for the trucks to move around without getting stuck in too much narrow-street traffic. We deal with the raw materials right from the source. Most days start early, usually before the sun is fully up, especially when we have to coordinate with the site teams out in the field. It’s a lot of grit and dirt, as you’d expect with any mining work. We keep our office operations simple. There’s a lot of checking permits and making sure the equipment is running right every single day. People around here know us as the stone folks from Vidyut Abhiyanta. We aren’t really into fancy presentations or polished pitches. If the stone is good quality, it usually sells itself. We’ve had some very long weeks lately, but that’s just how the mining cycle goes. Sometimes the weather doesn't play nice and we have to adjust the whole schedule. It's a practical business, focusing on getting the rock out of the ground and onto the next stage of the process for whoever needs the material.
