Vijayvargiya Traders

You can find us at A-1 New Sanganer Road in Katewa Nagar. It’s a good spot because the road is wide and it’s easy for people to pull over. At Vijayvargiya Traders, we mostly focus on wholesale and retail of various goods. The shop is filled with boxes and crates, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of room to walk. We have been here for several years now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit as more shops opened up. Our day starts early, around eight, when we start unpacking the new arrivals. We aren't interested in being the most modern shop on the street. We just want to have the items people are looking for when they walk through the door. It’s a lot of inventory management and making sure we don't run out of the basics. We talk to a lot of people every day, from delivery drivers to local families. It gets a bit chaotic during the festival seasons when everyone is out shopping at once. We don't have any fancy sales tactics or marketing. We just put the prices on the items and help people find what they need. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. The fans stay on all day to keep the air moving, and there is usually a pot of tea somewhere near the back for the staff.
