This part of Jaipur is always active with people going to the temple or just moving around the neighborhood. Our setup isn’t anything too big or flashy. We mostly deal with different types of stone that people use for their houses or building projects. It’s a lot of lifting and moving heavy slabs around the yard. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, especially when the monsoon rains come and everything gets muddy. We’ve lived and worked around here for a long time, so we know most of the neighbors. The office is just a small room where we keep our papers and talk to anyone who stops by. We don't use any big marketing teams or anything. Most of our work comes from people walking in or calling because they saw the name on the gate. It's a family-run kind of feel here, even if it’s an LLP on paper. We drink a lot of tea while talking to the truck drivers who bring in the raw material. It is just a regular local business trying to keep things moving. We don’t try to be something we aren't. We just focus on the stones we have in stock and getting through the daily list of tasks. It is pretty simple and we like it that way because it keeps our lives from getting too complicated while we work our shifts.
