We are based in the Vijay Laxmi Tower, room 108. It’s in the Central Spine area of Vidhyadhar Nagar. Kapil Stone Impex Pvt. Ltd. is mostly an office setup. We don't have the big cutters or the dust here. Instead, we spend our time on the phones and the computers. We coordinate where the stone goes. It’s a lot of talking to transporters and checking schedules. The building is usually busy with people coming and going for different businesses. We have some samples of marble and granite on the shelves so people can see the colors. It’s a bit of a trek to the quarries from here. We manage the paperwork and the logistics for everything. Sometimes the internet is slow and it makes the work take longer than it should. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby or fancy furniture. It’s just a place to work. We’ve been in Vidhyadhar Nagar for quite a while now. Most days it’s just the sound of the keyboard and the fans spinning overhead. We take our lunch breaks at the local stalls nearby in B-3. It’s a regular job. We handle the export side of things mostly. It’s about getting the stones to the right place at the right time. The days go by fast when there are many shipments to handle.
