Vatvriksha India Foundation

We are located at 21 A Keshav Kunj in Pratap Nagar. Our foundation, Vatvriksha India Foundation, is run from this quiet residential spot. Pratap Nagar is a large area, but our corner is mostly just houses and small shops. We aren’t some huge entity with a glass building. We are just a small group of people working from a home office. There are always piles of paper and tea cups around because we spend a lot of time talking and planning things out. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of writers. What we do have is a lot of local knowledge and a desire to help out where we can. Most of our days are spent coordinating with volunteers or talking to people in the neighborhood who have ideas for local projects. It can get a bit chaotic sometimes, especially when everyone is talking at once, but we manage to get things done eventually. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule at all. If someone needs help in the evening, we are usually around to listen to them. It’s a very human way of running a foundation, really. We focus on the practical side of things, like helping kids with their books or organizing a small tree planting in the nearby park. We just want to be a useful part of the community here in Pratap Nagar without making a big fuss about it or acting like we are special.
