Our yard over here at 1/1294 in Malviya Nagar is usually pretty dusty, but that’s just what happens when you work with stone all day. At Vasundhra Marble & Granites, we spend a lot of time moving heavy slabs around and trying to find the right piece for whoever walks in. It isn't a glamorous job, and your hands get rough after a few years of doing this. We have all kinds of marble and granite sitting around, some from nearby and some from further away. People come in looking for something for their kitchen or floors, and we just show them what we have in stock at the moment. Sometimes the stock is low because the trucks are delayed, and other times we have more than we know what to do with. The sun beats down on the stone in the afternoon, making it almost too hot to touch, but we keep at it. We don’t have a big sales team or anything like that. It’s just us and a few guys who help with the loading and cutting. Most of the people who come by are locals or contractors who have been buying from this spot for years. We try to keep things straightforward and honest about what the stone looks like, cracks and all, because that’s just how natural stone is. It’s a steady life here in Malviya Nagar, just keeping the yard organized and making sure the pieces get out to the sites.
