Vaniya Jeev Jantu Sewarth Foundation is located in the Sangariya area of Jodhpur, at Ram Nagar. Our address is Khasra No 158/1, house number 263. Jodhpur is a place where people generally have a lot of respect for animals, and that is what we are all about here. We see a lot of stray animals and birds in this part of the city that need a bit of help. Whether it’s cows, dogs, or even the local birds, we try to look after them. Our location in Sangariya gives us enough space to do this work. It’s not a polished facility; it’s more of a practical space where we can keep some supplies and have a place for people to bring animals that are hurt or hungry. We aren't a big organization with lots of funding. It’s mostly just a few of us who can’t stand to see a creature suffering. We spend our own time and whatever money we can spare to keep things going. The dusty roads of Jodhpur can be hard on the street animals, especially in the peak of summer when water is hard to find. We put out water pots and try to feed as many as we can. It’s a lot of manual work, cleaning up and carrying heavy bags of feed. We don't do this for any awards or recognition, just because it feels like the right thing to do for the creatures that can't ask for help themselves.
