Stones India

We are located over in Vaishali Nagar, which is a pretty well-known part of the city. Stones India has been here long enough that we’ve seen the roads get wider and the traffic get much heavier than it used to be. Working with stone means we always have something heavy to move around the yard. It’s not a quiet job, and the neighbors probably don’t love the noise, but that’s just the nature of the business. We keep our inventory stacked up where we can reach it easily. The yard isn't perfectly organized, but we have our own way of finding things when someone asks. It gets pretty dusty, especially in the dry months, so there’s always a layer of fine grit on everything. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning; it's mostly just a practical space where we can show people what we have. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of what comes in and making sure it’s ready to go out. It’s a simple operation really. We just show up in the morning, open the gates, and see what the day brings. The staff here has been around for a while, so we all know the drill. We don’t do much fancy talking, we just handle the stone and try to get through the work list. Vaishali Nagar is a good spot for us because people know how to find it. We've got a small tea break in the afternoon, but other than that, it's pretty constant work.
