Our yard is out on NH 8, specifically in Gidani within the Dudu area. It’s right near the Global Heart and General Hospital, which is a good way to find us if you are driving down the highway. At Sanjay Rocks Granite India, we deal with a lot of heavy granite slabs. Being on the highway means there is always a lot of dust and the sound of big trucks passing by. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but it works for us because we have the space. We spend a lot of time unloading blocks and then slicing them up. Granite is a tough material, so it takes some decent machines to get it right. The sun hits the slabs out in the open and you can really see the patterns in the stone. We don't have a big marketing team or a polished showroom. It’s mostly just the warehouse and the outdoor storage area. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which is just how it is in this part of the country. Our staff mostly lives nearby. We have been handling these rocks for years, so we know which ones are solid and which ones might have a crack. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from sunrise until the gates close. If you are passing through Dudu, you will see our sign along the road.
