Vaibhav Jewelley & Art

Our shop, Vaibhav Jewelley & Art, is located at No. 52/5 on Shipra Path in the Mansarovar area. It’s a pleasant neighborhood to be in, and we’ve been here long enough that we recognize most of the people who walk by every day. Inside, we have a mix of jewelry and different art pieces. It’s not a huge showroom with security guards and marble floors. It’s a more modest space where you can actually sit down and look at things closely without feeling rushed. We spend a lot of our time cleaning the glass cases and arranging the displays so everything looks presentable. Some of the jewelry is traditional, and some of the art is more modern, so there’s a bit of a variety for everyone. Mansarovar can get busy, but Shipra Path stays relatively calm compared to the main markets. We like it that way because it gives us more time to talk to whoever comes in. We do our own repairs sometimes, sitting at the small desk in the back with a loupe and some tiny tools. It’s delicate work and it can be hard on the eyes, but it’s satisfying to fix a broken chain or set a stone for someone. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city. We just want to offer some nice things to the people in our community. It’s a straightforward business, and we’re happy to be part of the local scene here.
