Our place is tucked away on Shayam Marg, over at Plot C-96 in Shastri Nagar. It's right near where Doctor Virendra Singh has his clinic, so most people use that as a landmark when they’re trying to find us. We’ve been working out of this spot for years, dealing with all sorts of advertising requests that come through the door. The shop is usually full of materials and the smell of ink. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you’ll just find one of us at the desk or working in the back. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the boards and vinyl rolls lying around, but we manage. Shastri Nagar is a lively area and there’s always something happening on the street. We get a lot of walk-ins from people in the neighborhood who need a quick sign for their shop or maybe some flyers for an event. We try to keep things straightforward and don't use a lot of complicated talk. If someone needs something, we tell them if we can do it and how long it’ll take. My cousin helps out most days and we just get on with the work. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The power goes out once in a while, which slows us down, but we just pick up where we left off. It’s just us doing our thing on Shayam Marg.
