Sign World

Sign World is located at No. 14 in Rana Mansion on Hatwara Road. We are quite easy to find because we are very close to the ESI Hospital. The shop is a ground-floor space where we handle all our sign-making work. It’s a bit of a messy place with pieces of metal, plastic, and vinyl scattered around, but that is how a real workshop should be. I have been running this place for several years and I’ve learned that the most important thing is just to be consistent. We get a lot of people coming in from the hospital area needing directional signs or small plaques. The street outside is always busy with traffic and people walking by, so we get a lot of walk-in business. We don't have a polished showroom with fancy lights. Instead, we have workbenches that are scratched up from years of use and walls covered in old project samples. My assistant and I spend the day cutting, sticking, and occasionally going out to fix a sign on a wall somewhere. It is hard work and sometimes the deadlines are tight, but we manage to get through the pile. We don't use any big marketing talk; we just tell people what we can do and then we do it. It’s an honest way to spend the day and it keeps us busy from morning until we finally head home.
