You can find United Quanite on Plot No. 1-6 in Nakoda Colony. We are situated right behind the Riico Housing Colony on Ajmer Road. It is a pretty big space because you need a lot of room when you’re dealing with the kind of stone slabs we handle. Being on Ajmer Road means we see a lot of traffic going past all day long, which keeps things interesting. It’s a convenient location for the big trucks to get in and out without getting stuck in the smaller city streets of Jaipur. We’ve got a lot of outdoor space where the stock sits and waits. The sun beats down on the stone all day, so it gets pretty hot out there in the yard. Our small office is where we try to stay cool and get the billing and paperwork done. It’s not a fancy setup at all, just some basic furniture and a lot of filing cabinets for the records. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders or visitors. We just want to make sure the granite is moving and the customers get what they came for on time. It’s a lot of coordination between the quarries and the transport guys who drive the trucks. Every day there is a new set of challenges, whether it's a truck breaking down or a delay at the processing site. We just take it as it comes and keep the yard running the best we can.
