We are located at No. 8-d Villa on Station Road. It’s a bit of a different spot compared to the big industrial parks, but it works for us at Ujjwal Granites. Being near the station means there is always noise and people moving around nearby. We handle a lot of granite here, and if you’ve ever moved it, you know it’s not light work. Our days are filled with the sound of stones being shifted and the occasional tea break when things slow down for a minute. We keep the granite slabs stacked up in the back, and we usually have to move three or four of them just to get to the one someone wants to look at. It's a bit of a puzzle sometimes. The office is just a small room where we keep the ledgers and the phone. We don't spend much time in there unless we're doing the billing or taking a call from a supplier. Most of the time we're outside. The weather affects us quite a bit since a lot of our work happens in the open air. When it rains, everything gets slick and we have to be extra careful with the machinery. We just try to keep things moving along and make sure the granite gets delivered without any chips or cracks. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
