You can find us at No. 21 in Moti Nagar West, right across from the Corporation Bank and not far from Akshardham Mandir. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with cables, opened-up laptops, and spare keyboards lying around on the workbenches. I have been fixing computers here for a long time. People bring in machines that have stopped working or have screens that are cracked. It is a small place, so if two people are working on repairs at the same time, there isn't much room to move. The sound of cooling fans and the smell of soldering iron is what you notice first when you walk in. We deal with all sorts of problems, from slow software to hardware that just gave up. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a specific part to arrive from the supplier. It is frustrating for the customers, but that is just how it goes with electronics. The location is good because people can drop off their computers and then go do their banking or visit the temple while they wait. We don't have fancy uniforms or a front desk person. Usually, whoever isn't holding a screwdriver is the one who answers the door. The shelves are filled with old boxes and plastic containers for screws. It is just a straightforward repair shop where we try to get things running again so people can get back to their work or studies.
