Gaurav Marble Garnites

You can find us at J-18 in Tagore Nagar. We are right near the Kiran Palace Hotel, so most people use that as a landmark to find us. At Gaurav Marble Garnites, the yard is always full of stone slabs. Marbles and granites are what we deal with every single day. It is a lot of heavy lifting and careful moving. Tagore Nagar is a bit quieter than the main industrial zones, but we still have plenty to do. The hotel nearby brings in some traffic, so people often see our sign while they are driving past. I spend a lot of time spraying water on the slabs to show the colors. When the stone is dry and dusty, you cannot see the patterns well. We have been in this spot for a good while. The neighbors know us, and we know them. Sometimes a stray dog will sit in the shade of the slabs during the afternoon heat. We just let it stay there. It is not a fancy setup at Gaurav Marble Garnites. We have a small desk and a lot of stone. My hands are usually rough from the grit. We just work through the day, talk to whoever stops by, and make sure the deliveries are handled correctly. It is a steady kind of life. We do not make a big fuss about things, we just do the work as it comes and hope the rain stays away.
