Surya Tiles

Our shop is located at Plot No. 35 on Benad Road, which is a part of town that never seems to slow down. If you are looking for us, we are right near Shree Balaji Engineering College, so you will often see students walking past our front door during the day. This place is usually filled with stacks of different tiles, and there is always a layer of fine dust on the floor from moving them around. Lifting these heavy boxes is a daily workout for everyone here, and our backs definitely feel it by the time evening rolls around. We spend a lot of time showing people the different patterns and colors, helping them figure out what might look okay in a small bathroom or a kitchen. The sunlight hits the front of the shop in the morning, which makes it easy to see the true colors of the ceramic. It is not a polished showroom like you see in the big cities, but it gets the job done for the families around here who are building or fixing their homes. We keep a tally of the stock in a simple notebook and try to keep things organized, even though it gets messy when a big delivery truck arrives and blocks the entrance. Most of our day is just spent talking to contractors or homeowners who want something that lasts without costing a fortune.
