Surender Stone

Surender Stone is tucked away in C-Block of Ballabh Bari at No. 67. It’s a bit of a local spot, not like the big industrial yards you see on the outskirts. We’ve got various types of stone lying around the yard. Most of our day is spent moving pieces around or showing people what we have in stock. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually rough from handling the material. We don't have a polished sales floor. You basically walk into the yard and see the stone as it is. Some of it is dusty, some of it is stacked up high. We try to keep it organized, but it’s a bit cluttered sometimes. The neighborhood is a mix of residential and small businesses, so we try not to make too much noise late in the day. We’ve got a small office space, but we mostly prefer being outside. It's a simple operation. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the inventory. People from around the area stop by when they’re working on their houses. We talk about what might work for their projects. It’s very informal. We don't use high-pressure tactics or anything like that. We just show what we’ve got and let people decide. It’s a steady pace here in Ballabh Bari. We like being part of the community and doing things our way.
