Our space on Nand Marg is usually filled with different kinds of stone blocks and slabs waiting to be processed or moved out. It is not the quietest part of Subash Nagar, especially when the machinery is running, but the neighbors seem used to us by now. We do not have a marketing team or a fancy office. Most of the time, we are out in the yard or near the saws. We deal with whatever stone comes through the gate. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to reorganize the yard, which always seems to need it. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs stone, we show them what we have on the lot. There is no pressure or big sales pitch involved. We just tell you what it is and where it came from. The dust is a constant companion here, so we are always cleaning off the desks and the equipment. It is a practical way to make a living. Subash Nagar is a good spot for us, and being at Sb-45 makes it easy for folks to drop by when they are looking for something specific for their building projects. We just keep doing what we do.
