Stone Bazar

You can find us on Lingsuager Road, right across from the Check Post Office. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the check post is. Our place is called Stone Bazar, and that’s exactly what it looks like. We have piles of different stones sitting out front. Some days the wind blows the dust everywhere, and we have to go out and spray some water down. It’s a busy road with lots of trucks coming and going. We spend our mornings unloading shipments and the afternoons trying to organize everything so people can actually see what we have. It’s not very organized, if I’m being honest. We just put things where they fit. We have all sorts of stuff, from rough chips to smoother tiles. People stop by on their way into town to see what’s new. We don’t do any big advertising. We just talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes the sun is really hot out there in the yard, so we spend a lot of time under the tin roof of the office hut. We drink a lot of water and keep the fan going. It’s a straightforward business. We buy the stone, we stack the stone, and we sell the stone. There isn't much more to it than that. It’s a bit of a workout, but it keeps us busy. We’ve been at this spot for years and don't plan on moving. It’s simple, messy, and we like it that way.
