Stone Age Ltd.

Stone Age Ltd. is located in Village Saipura, near Post Shikapura. It’s on the Diggi Malpura Road in the Sanganer area. This is a bit away from the city center. You see green fields nearby, but also a lot of stone work. The road is always busy with tractors and big trucks. We have a good amount of space here in the yard. The air is a bit clearer than in the middle of town. We handle a lot of different stones. Every morning we sweep the office and the front area. The wind blows dirt in anyway, no matter how much we clean. It’s just part of being in Sanganer. We have workers who have been with us for many years. They know the stones better than anyone else. We drink tea twice a day together. It’s a routine that keeps us going. The village is quiet at night, but during the day it’s all work. We don't have fancy brochures or pictures. If someone wants to see the stone, they come here and look at the actual piles. It’s better that way. You can touch the surface and see the real colors. Diggi Malpura Road is a long stretch. Sometimes the traffic is very bad and slow. But we like it here. It’s a practical place to run a business. We stay busy with whatever orders come in. No two days are exactly the same. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is what it is.
